Pumpkin Spice Latte

‘Tis the season for pumpkin spice and I am seeing it everywhere! Unfortunately most of the cafe’s serving this beverage are loading them with sugar, dairy, a tonne of artificial flavours, and some don’t even contain any pumpkin at all! But following a clean, whole foods diet doesn’t mean you have to miss out on this treat! You can make your own at home using this simple recipe and enjoy the warming festive flavours of this season.

 

 

 Dairy Free/Refined Sugar Free Pumpkin Spice Latte Recipe

  • 1 cup coffee
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin puree
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp pumpkin spice
  • Optional- extra cinnamon to sprinkle on top

Combine all ingredients in saucepan and heat on low until warm. Blend in vitamix or using a handheld immersion blender to create frothiness. Sprinkle on extra cinnamon if desired before serving.
