Lindsey Luckey, Holistic Nutritionist and Certified Yoga Teacher. She has been studying and experimenting with nutritional therapy since her diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis in 2007. Discouraged by the lack of treatment options available for MS, Lindsey began making some changes to her diet and quickly experienced improvements in her symptoms. She became curious about the connection between autoimmune disease and nutrition and decided to register for the Holistic Nutrition Studies program at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, earning her diploma in March 2015.
Lindsey is inspired by the work of Dr. Terry Wahl’s and Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride and has experience working with the GAPS and Wahl’s nutritional protocols. She has a special interest in working with people who live with neurodegenerative disease and autoimmune disorders. She draws upon her own experiences and education to provide clients with condition specific diet recommendations as well as practical tools and recipes that make implementation manageable and fun. She believes optimizing your nutrition is one of the best things you can do to start to take some control back over your health after receiving a diagnosis.
Lindsey recognizes the importance of stress management in any nutritional program and in addition to diet recommendations, draws upon her experience as a Certified Yoga Teacher to provide clients with lifestyle recommendations to help them achieve their goals on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level.
