Being Still, the Quiet Hero of Health

I like to think of the darkest days of the year as nature’s invitation inward. In our busy society it’s become so hard to be still and do nothing. Really, it’s challenging. But it’s worth it. At the heart of stillness is complete presence: all problems dissolve, there’s nothing to say, nothing to fix, nothing to do, nothing to figure out, just IS-ness. It’s the most restful experience imaginable. One of the things I’m most grateful for from my recent experiences with the Dalian Method is the way the Dalian Method has given me access to some very deep experiences of stillness.
