My passion for nutrition sparked when I saw how nutrition impacted the lives and performances of the athletes I trained. As an Advanced Performance Coach there was an undeniable link between the performance of one’s body and nutrition. This interest gradually grew and saw me change my career path from coaching athletes into Holistic Nutrition allowing me to witness the benefit of good nutrition play out in people’s every day lives.
My approach to nutrition is holistic, which means that I look at the issue as a part of a whole being rather than a single issue that needs to be resolved. I evaluate your diet, your lifestyle, your family history and so much more when evaluating the signs and symptoms you struggle with before creating a plan. In doing so I get to the root of the issue and not just a band aid approach to a solution. I am also able to create a custom plan that truly fits into your lifestyle. Change can only take place if you are able to consistently do what needs to happen for a sustained period of time and that is where a sustainable and attainable plan comes into play.
I have a passion for working with people on women’s health and infertility as well as health and fitness goals. I also work with clients struggling with:
- gut health imbalances
- hormonal imbalances
- weight loss
- anxiety or depression
- lack of sleep
- high stress load
- and so much more!
I graduated Summa Cum Laude in Advanced Performance Coaching in South Africa before coming to Vancouver and studying Holistic Nutrition through the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. When I am not in the clinic you can find me checking out a new coffee shop, playing with my daughter, eating delicious meals with friends or out on a run somewhere in Vancouver.
