Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring compound in the skin. As we age, less is produced. Hyaluronic acid binds to and absorbs water, which leads to fullness and plumping of the skin. Microneedling is used to allow the hyaluronic acid to penetrate deeper into the skin, allowing for better absorption and utilization.

Hylauronic Acid is applied topically to the skin, followed by microneedling to help the hylauronic acid penetrate into the skin.

We use a topical numbing cream that is applied prior to the treatment to minimize discomfort.

There can be possible swelling following the procedure. Your skin will be red that will last 3-4 hours, and residual redness can last for a few days. You may use makeup to cover any redness in the days following the procedure. There can also be possible bruising at the injection sites.
