About Your Appointment:

Initial Visit:

Your first visit is 50 minutes and includes a comprehensive and in-depth intake. This is an opportunity for us to learn all about your past medical history, current concerns and goals. Your physiotherapist will perform a detailed examination of the area of concern and your body as a whole. This may include posture assessment, gait analysis, range of motion testing, strength testing, or any other tools that may help the physiotherapist in differentially diagnosing your condition. Assessment techniques will vary depending on your condition or injury. Your physiotherapist will then provide treatment and come up with a treatment and exercise plan unique to your health concerns. Other modalities which may be used include functional dry needling/IMS, cupping therapy, therapeutic exercises as well as lifestyle and ergonomic recommendations.

Subsequent Visit:

Each follow-up visit, will consist of a quick check in, assessment and treatment to continue to help you toward achieving your optimal health. Follow-up visits are usually 30-minutes in length, but can be 45 or 60 minutes depending on your treatment needs.
