Sachiell has always had a passion for healing, anatomy, and looking at wellness through a holistic lens. She believe that massage therapy is a key component in soft tissue rehabilitation, injury prevention, pain management, and general well being. Since completing the RMT program at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2014, she has been able to hone her manual skills and knowledge in a way that allows her to effectively support patients with their own healing.
Sachiell’s treatment style is intuitive and collaborative, and prioritizes effective communication with patients. She welcomes people of all backgrounds, lifestyles, and body types and will work with you to create a treatment plan based on your needs and desired outcomes. The treatment time is for you, and if there’s anything that will help make you feel safer or more comfortable, whether it be an adjustment in pressure, a pillow moved, or the music changed, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Sachiell uses and has experience with a variety of treatment modalities. Treatments most often include myofascial techniques that progress into more fluid Swedish-style flushing strokes, in tandem with targeted trigger point release, neuromuscular therapy, joint mobilization, craniosacral therapy, and passive/active stretching. She has experience working with a wide variety of conditions, but especially loves to help with chronic pain, stress management, postural dysfunction, overuse injuries, digestive conditions, pre and postnatal care, and both sports and impact injuries.
In her time outside work, Sachiell enjoys exploring nature, crafting botanical skincare, cooking, dance, and playing with any dogs she happens to meet. She looks forward to seeing you!
